Kids and Family Rock Bass Derby June 29

Catchacoma Marina is hosting the Kids & Family Rock Bass Derby on Saturday JUNE 29th. Come on down and join the fun or just come and watch and show your support.

All proceeds are going to the Cavendish Community Policing Association.

Register by JUNE 23rd in person at Catchacoma Marina or to Cavendish Community Policing Volunteers.

Annual Plant Sale – June 1st

Annual Plant & Silent Auction at the Cavendish Community Centre. Sponsored by the Cavendish Garden Club 8:30am – 11am.

All proceeds from this event
are in support for the
beautification of our Community Centre.


There will be some great deals, so please drop by and show your support.

Donations of plants will be gratefully accepted at the library on Wednesday or Saturdays (10am-4pm) or at the event. All plants are grown locally and are hardy to our area.

Register for a Turtle Walk


Turtles are the best cleaners of our lakes and water! Turtle populations are declining dramatically: Turtles live a long time, but, it takes about 60 years for one snapping turtle to replace itself. Road mortality, poaching and habitat loss are making things worse for turtles.
